From the first discussions regarding your design aspirations to the architectural interior meetings, I can assist with bringing your dream home into fruition. The design process begins with consulting with the client during the architectural space planning stage and then guiding them through the selections and design features that a new project entails such as lighting, flooring, tile, cabinets, countertops, paint and anything else attached to the home. Collaborating closely with the builders to provide insight and specifications is of paramount importance. Certain aspects associated with building or renovating can be challenging, this is why the assistance of a professional and experienced licensed interior designer is essential.

Furnishings Interior Design Services

Whether you’ve just closed on a new home or are ready to update your existing home, a full scope of services is available to help with any of your furniture, window treatments, or accessory needs; giving you the ultimate design experience. The custom design presentation includes a curation of selections for each space selected from a vast library of trade-only vendors. You will be lead through a proven design process, connecting you with our most trusted vendors, and providing you with the ultimate in home design.

Design Process Phases

  1. Consultation and Programming: You will be walked through the design process and we will accumulate a list of services your project needs. During our consultation, we will discuss your personal wish list, design aesthetic, timeframe, and budget.
  2. Proposal and Contract: Following the consult, a detailed contract along with a scope of services and estimated hourly and/or design fees will be presented. Typically the Architectural Interior Design Services portion of the contract is at an hourly rate with a retainer required based on the amount of hours estimated to complete requested selections. Once that portion is complete, or if the project does not require Architectural Interiors, we transition to the Furnishings Interior Design Services portion of the contract which is a flat design fee calculated by the size and intricacy on the project.
  3. Plan and Design: Now for the fun part! Once under contract we move right into the architectural interior selections phase with you if your project is a renovation or new build. If your project does not require this scope of service we will jump into the space planning and furniture selections. 
  4. Presentation and Ordering: After the design has been completed, we will set up an in-person or virtual presentation to review all selections including but not limited to: furniture plans, fabric and finish samples, paint selections, and window treatment options. Once we’ve finalized your design, we will get all of your furniture on order. We will connect you with a local warehouse team who will receive, inspect, and store your goods until delivery.
  5. Install and Follow up: Once construction is complete, our designers will assist in scheduling a fully staffed, white glove delivery service to place all items in your home. We love a dramatic reveal, so we are here to help with the finishing touches that make your house a home!
